Project Groundbreaking
The official groundbreaking ceremony for the project took place on Monday, July 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Over 60 people attended the event including community leaders, public officials, local businesses and members of the general public.
The project began in early August and weather permitting, the project will be completed in 15 months.
The consultant and the construction manager for the project is Salaber Associates The construction contract was awarded to DeSilva Gates Construction.

This project is needed to serve regional growth stemming mainly from development south of the I-5 / CR-102 interchange.
